Honfleur – a charming port town in the land of Calvados!

Great memories of a stay at a bed and breakfast in Honfleur, one of our favourite towns in Normandy.

Around 2 hours by car from Paris, Honfleur is a charming little town well-known for its bustling old port.

The slate-covered houses around the port have been painted numerous times by famous impressionists like Claude Monet and Eugène Boudin.

Wherever we crave a bit of the refreshing sea breeze and delightful seafood, we’d take a drive down to this picturesque town, so characteristic of the region of apples and Calvados. 🙂
