Spent a weekend in the sun-kissed city of Split, Croatia, and oh, how I wish it was longer!
The city’s beaches are a dream, with the Adriatic Sea’s crystal clear waters lapping against the shore. I found this little beach house near our hotel, nestled between the pines, a perfect hideaway from the world.
Did you know Split is home to the Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, built by the Roman emperor Diocletian in the 4th century AD?
It’s not just a palace, but a fortress, a city, and a living monument all rolled into one!
Croatia, with its rich history and stunning landscapes, is definitely underrated. Can’t wait to go back and explore more of this beautiful country. 😎🏖️🌴
