Commissioned by its owner Alexis Godillot in 1882, the villa’s architect Pierre Chapoulart combined two existing villas into a magnificent residence.
One finds in its facades different architectural styles, from classic, normand to moorish, unified harmoniously.
The villa is part of a lovely walking path in the charming town centre of Hyères, so characteristic of the south of France.

Looks nice. My parents had a house near Sainte-maxime for a while. But I don’t think I’ve ever been to Hyères. You have been around… ??
You really should visit! It’s not that well known to tourists and you can cycle on Porquerolles island which is nearby. 🙂
I’ve heard of Porquerolles a lot. One day.
